Students may receive health care services from the University of Mary Student Health Clinic regardless of their ability to pay.
For students with health care insurance, the fees will first be billed to the insurance carrier and any remaining unpaid balance can be billed either to the insured or the student. Special arrangements may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Parents are encouraged to check with their insurance provider to see if an out-of-area waiver is necessary for coverage while the student is in college. Contact information for an insurance company’s customer services office is generally located on the back of the insurance card.
Some insurance companies require enrollment verification forms be submitted for every semester the student is enrolled to continue health care coverage. Parents are encouraged to contact their insurance company for specific guidelines.
If uninsured, the student will sign a consent for treatment & financial responsibility each clinic visit.
CHI St. Alexius Health Clinic mails monthly statements to the person the student specifies when he or she registers.
Please allow sufficient time for your insurance policy settlement to be processed and the final balance noted on your clinic statement.
The following payment options are available:
Any questions on billing may be handled by contacting CHI St. Alexius Health directly at the phone number provided on your billing statement, or by calling the Student Health Clinic at 701-355-3700.
