Professional Biography
I am an associate professor in the University of Mary's Department of Music, where I teach applied voice, opera scenes, lyric diction, vocal pedagogy, and ear training. A native of North Dakota, I am a past winner of the National Metropolitan Opera Auditions and was awarded a career grant from the National Institute for Opera. I made my New York recital debut at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, having won the prestigious Joy in Singing Competition. I have worked with such noted teachers and conductors, as Anton Coppola, Nico Castel, Joan Dornemann, Jean Kraft, Henry Lewis, Emma Small, Richard Woitach and David Jones
